This presentation covers how to build healthy technical skills right from the very first piano lessons, focusing on ergonomic posture and relaxed, natural movement. We’ll dive into the basics of hand position, sitting comfortably at the piano, and using the whole arm to avoid tension. Plus, we’ll break down essential articulations like non legato, legato, and staccato, with practical tips and simple exercises to help beginners master these building blocks.

This workshop is for piano teachers, advanced students with an interest in pedagogy, as well as anybody interested in its content.

On the day after the workshop at 9 a.m. (CEST), participants will receive private access to watch the recording during the next week, until Monday 27 October at 9 a.m. (CEST). This access is protected with password and IP identification.

To obtain a certificate of attendance it is necessary to attend the workshop live and to be in front of the active camera for at least 80% of the total time.

1. Places are limited and will be reserved by strict order of application.
2. When the workshop is full, the application form will not be available, but you will be able to sign up for a waiting list in case a participant drops their place.
3. Taking pictures and the complete or partial recording of this course by the participants are forbidden, as well as its reproduction or broadcasting.
4. Without prejudice of the right of withdrawal, the fee is not refundable. The place cannot be used by a different person, or for any other course or other editions of the same course.
5. Within fourteen calendar days from the date of your registration, you have the right to withdraw from the contract without justification. In case of withdrawal on your part, we will refund all payments received from you without undue delay and, in any case, no later than 14 calendar days from the date you inform us of your decision to withdraw from the contract.
