Description + -

The aim of Les Violons Dansants is to perform simple dance steps while playing the violin, to apprehend the surrounding space and to structure the music within it. This holistic approach is an effective pedagogical tool for rhythmic, neurological and artistic learning, as well as for instrumental technique itself. It has a particular impact on freedom of playing.

During this workshop, we'll discover the fundamentals of the approach through videos and the practice of exercises and games, often inspired by the rhytmic ideas of Jacques Dalcroze. In these videos we will also discover the Ministrings. Additionally, we will have the opportunity to work with children and learn from the practical application of these principles with them. You will leave with new pedagogical tools that you will then be able to reproduce with your students and continue to develop in your own way.

Instruments are essential for this workshop.
