After 40 years of teaching violin, viola, ensemble as well as didactic training of students at the Conservatory/HEMU of Lausanne, Tina Strinning now devotes her time to transmitting her passion and what made it successful.
By creating Les Violons Dansants and The Ministrings, she developed a particular aptitude in stimulating the musical potential of the children; the pleasure of the stage, the responsibility of each person and sharing are an integral parts of this dynamic. www.tinastrinning.ch
Les Violons Dansants were born following a 2-years long training at the Jaques Dalcroze Rhythmic Institute in Geneva.
It's about executing simple steps while playing the violin, perceiving the surrounding space and structuring the music within it.
The exciting results that have resulted from this educational tool are recognised well beyond Swiss borders. http://violons.dansants.jonglor.net/index_eng.php
The Ministrings, a group which is often the ambassador of Les Violins Dansants, entails an ensemble work which stimulates a remarkable and fulfilling engagement in pupils.
The musical repertoire is vast, but in particular drawn from traditional tunes, the so called «travelling music ».
This group travels across Europe with colorful, joyful, unique and contagious shows. These trips are often an opportunity to meet other pupils in situ , giving rise to fruitful exchanges. http://ministrings.ch/index_eng.php http://ministrings.ch/index_eng.php
