We\u2019ll also align parent expectations from day one\u2014minutes of daily practice, what \"progress\" looks like, and how to give feedback\u2014so the teacher\u2013parent\u2013child team starts strong.<br \/><br \/>Participants will leave with: a practice-sanctuary checklist (quiet corner, stand\/binder, metronome\/tuner, small mirror, recording device), lesson-flow templates for the first 3\u20136 lessons (both age bands), a two-week tonalization plan, cue cards for teacher language, and home-practice games that make review feel like doing it better, not just again. We\u2019ll outline the first three months:<br \/><br \/><\/p><ul><li>Month 1: routines, greeting\/thank-you bows, parts\/care, posture, bow\/hand-shape games, 5-minute focused practices, listening habits.<br \/><br \/><\/li><li>Month 2: refine tone and setup, introduce first melodies (e.g., \"Flower Song\" or similar), 8\u201310 minute practices, simple practice charts.<br \/><br \/><\/li><li>Month 3: add familiar tunes (e.g., \"Three Blind Mice\", \"Mary Had a Little Lamb\"), begin \"Twinkle-style\" patterns, celebrate progress through joyful review.<\/li><\/ul><p>For families who want context, we\u2019ll share a brief Musical Parenting Reading Starter (begin one title before lessons): \"The Talent Code\" (Coyle) and \"The Science of Rapid Skill Acquisition\" (Hollins).
