Piano pedagogy
DAVID ANDRUSS
Piano Adventures is one of the world's most widely used piano methods, and this four-hour online workshop shows you why. Join concert pianist David Andruss for a guided journey through the method's pedagogy: how it builds genuine musicianship step by step, from a student's very first sounds at the keyboard to fluent, expressive playing at the intermediate level.
What makes it so rewarding to teach? The core skills of musicianship—technique, reading, rhythm, theory, and artistry—develop together, in the right order, at the right moment. That careful, thorough sequencing is what makes the method so satisfying to teach and so secure for the student. Come and discover, from the inside, why teachers everywhere return to it again and again.
This workshop is for piano teachers, advanced students with an interest in pedagogy, as well as anybody interested in its content.
On the day after the workshop at 9 a.m. (CET), participants will receive private access to watch the recording during the next week, until Monday 2 November at 9 a.m. (CET). This access is protected with password and IP identification.
To obtain a certificate of attendance it is necessary to attend the workshop live and to be in front of the active camera for at least 80% of the total time.
