Eduardo is currently a highly sought-after teacher and a leading figure in cello pedagogy on the national scene.
Trained by leading cellists and teachers of the instrument, Eduardo began his studies with the renowned María de Macedo in Madrid, continuing his studies with Marion Feldman at the Manhattan School of Music in New York, and completing his training with the prestigious international concert performer Gary Hoffman.
During his years of study, he participated in numerous festivals and masterclasses, receiving advice from teachers such as Wolfgang Boettcher, Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi, Dimitri Ferschtman, and Colin Carr, among others.
Since 2015, Eduardo has taught at the Joaquín Turina Professional Conservatory of Music in Madrid, while also welcoming students from different parts of Spain and abroad to his private studio.
He is frequently invited to give courses and masterclasses both in Spain and abroad, as well as conducting online courses and lectures.
Many of Eduardo's students have won various prizes in competitions both in Spain and abroad, have performed as soloists with orchestras, have received academic recognition and distinctions, and have obtained various scholarships, being admitted to continue their studies at prestigious international centers such as the Peabody Institute at Johns Hopkins University, Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Eastman School of Music, Royal Academy of Music, Royal College of Music, Royal Northern College of Music, Trinity College of Music, Interlochen School of Arts, Amsterdam Conservatory, etc.
Eduardo's former students have continued their studies with internationally renowned cellists and teachers such as Paul Katz, Steven Doane, Hannah Roberts, Amit Peled, Adolfo Gutiérrez, Natalie Clein, Truls Mork, Thomas Demenga, and Ralph Kirshbaum.
Alongside his work as a teacher, to which he is almost entirely devoted, Eduardo continues to be an active cellist, especially in chamber music, having been part of various ensembles and given concerts in Spain, Italy, France, Mexico, and the US.
