CEPIC is a space dedicated to string and piano teachers, future teachers and pedagogy enthusiasts. Through our in-person courses in Madrid and our online activity, we have had the privilege of accompanying thousands of participants from all over the world in their learning and pedagogical development. Our aim is to offer an enriching environment in which to share knowledge and experience in the teaching of these instruments.
CEPIC was founded in Madrid in 2013 with the aim of offering training and exchange in the field of string pedagogy. It was born of two musicians who are truly passionate about music education, Andrés Ortiz and Álvaro Llorente.
The center aims to be a leading force in pedagogical training, offering a space where string and piano teaching is enriched through the exchange of experiences and the continuous training of teachers.
Since its foundation in 2013, CEPIC has established itself as a leading institution in pedagogical training, with a growing national and international participation, including all string instruments and piano. Today, CEPIC offers both in-person and online training, adapting to the growing participants' needs.
CEPIC is lucky to enjoy the collaboration of international pedagogues and artists who enrich our educational offer. Leading teachers and performers have joined this project, offering their experience and knowledge to train future generations of teachers. Among them are such outstanding international figures as Joshua Bell, Sarah Chang, Christophe Coin, Mimi Zweig, Géza Szilvay and Kurt Sassmannshaus.
